While driving into my street today, this beautiful tree caught my eye....a great reminder of autumn and the changing of the leaves on the trees...what a celebration!

Today I finished off the pages of my travel journal...this is a great way to keep all the information together on the places that you've been..as you can see by these few pages, I have even included the fabrics that I bought and where I bought them...then if I ever need more fabric I know where to go!

Well, I can happily say that I am now on 3 weeks holidays...I am thoroughly exhausted and really tired today though as I am sure I will be for a few days...I have finished closing Lincraft at Knox and now I am home and ready to begin some new projects...holidays are great for starting new things, that I have held of for the last 6 months or so until I have had time to get it all together and begin...I am starting Nastassja's 21st birthday quilt, which is a black, red and white retro quilt, her 21st was in November last year...so it has taken awhile to get going...the fabrics are funky and so far I have done a few and they look great...I really happy with them...here is a photo of my work so far...
